RECOMENDATIONS:
Lisa has provided four days of intensive training to myself and my team of twenty Residential child care practitioners. The brief was no mean feat …. The training has been inspirational from start to end and included a roller coaster journey of emotions for all. Lisa has been exceptional in providing opportunities to take a deeper look at ourselves, our value base, vulnerabilities and acknowledging shame. Her ability to have you explore these in a safe, open and honest arena has ensured we have in place strong foundations to go forward and deliver Trauma-informed care.
Lisa’s unique combination of experience, knowledge, skill and personality has been instrumental in our on-going journey to become a trauma-informed organisation. We approached Lisa after hearing her deliver a keynote speech at a national conference in the hope that she would be willing to design and deliver foundational TIP training for our practitioners. Lisa was incredibly responsive and collaborative in the design phase which ensured the course was tailored to our needs. Lisa has so far delivered ten events to large mixed grade, mixed role groups. The content and delivery was everything we hoped it would be. Lisa’s extensive knowledge together with her engaging style and ability to create a safe space for the groups was exceptional. Feedback about the training from attendees has been excellent.
Lisa joined us at a conference on Adverse Childhood Experiences and had the task of drawing together the sessions of the day in a closing keynote. This is not an enviable slot but she managed to hold the audience for the full session and left everyone feeling positive and energised about the work that needs doing in our schools. She was absolutely the right choice for our event and generally good company throughout the day too!
Once again Lisa engaged our participants with solid knowledge-based information presented in a dynamic and challenging way. Much learning and sharing. We were left with an appetite to go forth and change our worlds!

Lisa led a PD day for my staff and a range of other school leaders from schools in the area on ACE’s and the impact on these on children and managing trauma in the classroom. Positive feedback was received from many of the staff who attended who find Lisa’s training informative and engaging. Staff were given time to reflect on practice and identify change which was needed in this area.
