There is so much to listen to, to read, to analyse, to keep up with and box sets galore to choose from every where we look that it’s a job to know what to choose! So I have compiled my favourite podcasts to listen to while on lockdown.

A consistent favourite that delivers every time has been the Ted Interview which has been held live every day on FB and then uploaded for podcast. They are having a couple of weeks off now and will reconvene soon but if you want to hear some intelligent thinking around Covid 19, then that’s the one for you.

I’ve also been busily recording interviews during this time in an attempt to get a variety of views across different sectors and through different perspectives. This is an ongoing endeavor but currently you can listen to Helen Kemp on the Menopause and trauma, Ian Thomas on Social Work, addiction and authenticity and post-pandemic possibilities, Sonya McMullan on the impact for Women’s Aid NI and Kim Cormack on how The Rees Foundation is serving the care experienced community. All of my podcasts can be found wherever you listen by putting Lisa Cherry Trauma Resonance Resilience into your podcast search engine and for those of you that prefer YouTube, they are all there too.

I’ve also enjoyed Today In Focus from The Guardian if I want a news bite, Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place for deeper conversations on ‘struggle and of course, Desert Island Discs.

Plenty for you to get your teeth into and I’ll post more as I discover them and if you fancy a read, then you might something in here. Equally, if you have any gems to add, please do so in the comments.

Happy listening…
